Grammy

While working on the Alan Frew album in LA in 1994, Mick Fleetwood was asked if he would play drums on Alan's album. Mick dove in and played drums on 2 tracks which later led to John and Mick working on other projects together.
In 1995 John, Mick and Ray Kennedy (Beach Boy co-writer) worked together for the Fleetwood Mac album Time with John Producing and Engineering the first song to feature Mick on lead vocals, These Strange Times, and playing Guitar, Bass and Keyboards.
John continued working with Mick in 1996 with new artist Tallulah, and he also started a long term project to recover "The Lost Tapes of Fleetwood Mick", which were recorded in Africa and the USA in the early 1980's.

In a co-production with legendary drummer Stephen Ferrone, JJ and Steve wrote and performed the score for the short film IPOLA, a film about the preservation of Native American Languages.
A song from the film can still be heard on radio in New Mexico but has not as yet made it onto an album.

In 1996 John re-established an old friendship with the songwriter and artist Dan Hill, producing and co-writing with Dan for his album, I'm Doing Fine.
The LP recieved strong radio success with the title track and the top 20 song Wrapped Around Your Finger, which John wrote with Dan.

During the Dan Hill sessions in 1996, John Produced and Engineered with Rick Hahn and Dan Hill the beautiful Hill composition Seduces Me, for Celine Dion's album Falling Into You.
The song was an integral part of what became the Grammy award winning Album of the Year in 1997 and remains one of Celine's favourite songs in concert.
John, along with the albums other Producers, recieved a Grammy Award for Producer, Album of the Year and Engineer, Album of the Year and Pop Album of the Year.
Falling Into You has sold more than 28 million copies worldwide.
