My Times

Last week we tragically lost Michael Hutchence of INXS.
Michael was a deeply creative and talented man, who in the end, seemed to have suffered the wrong side of success.
Although I knew Michael only briefly, I was totally taken by the depth of his heart and his mind. As a singer and songwriter he had a deep tenderness and passion that was unique his field.
I'm so depressed that someone with so much to give the world had to get so lost in the bottomless pit of drugs and alcohol.
Donations can be sent to UNICEF, the United Nations Children Fund.(See Below)

We also lost Jeanette Kaasmann last week. Janet was a past President of the Rotary Club of Hollywood and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. My deepest condolences to Clemens and the Kaasmann family.

Further to my bantor about IRAQ and the United Nations in my last news page, there is more to the overall story than the press have chosen to report:

UNICEF issued a plea regarding the Disastrous Situation of Children in Iraq back in October.
A summary of the results of their report on the Consequences of UN Sanctions and the limited oil sales that IRAQ are allowed in exchange for Food and Medicine, clearly shows the new's media's lack of integrity when reporting world events.
Why is the United Nations and it's Security Council breaking it's own laws on the treatment of Civilians and particularily Children in IRAQ?
Is the price of Winter Oil in the Northern Hemisphere more important?

UNICEF have a Quiz on the state of Childrens living conditions around our Planet.
