My Times

Summer has been flying by at Drumroll.

Last week Sabian had a visitor who turned out to be Harold Brown of the Lowriders, ex of War with Eric Burdon.
I just happened to have my CD of War at hand for a gracious signature from the drumming Groove Meister of Spill The Wine and other ground breaking songs from the past...

If you're anywhere near New Orleans check out The Lowrider Band featuring Lee Oskar, Howard Scott, B.B. Dickerson and Harold Brown!

If you let them go, the ones you love always come back.

Walter, Kate and Lilly Turbitt returned to Los Angeles after 6 years in London and Nashville.
Welcome home buddy!

We played a round of Golf at Los Robles...and no, that wasn't a Whiff!

The Money Mantra and other Grooving Songs to Meditate Along With Project is moving ahead with the spiritual guidance of the one and only Davinci.

Yes, this is one busy summer!

Here are The Dares in the studio last weekend with Ian Copeland and Dad Jim.

See The Dares at the Viper Room on the 15th of August for an Indie 103.1 & Filter Magazine show...

Another great artist who came in to Drumroll for the Steve Ferrone magic last week was Kevin Moore aka Keb Mo who was in recording drums for a CD he's Producing for the SubDudes.

Squeezed in on a Saturday a couple of weeks ago was Devon Glenn ex of Buck Cherry laying some Drum Tracks for a new as yet un-named project...

Our main summer music Production at Drumroll is new artist Jack Dill.
Here's a photo of me with Jack and co-producer Steve Postell.

I just want to remind you that SUV's are a danger to our Planet and to you.

Here's one I drove past on my way over Laurel Canyon the other day:
