The situation in Iraq is really getting stupid!
I'm trying to buy the US administrations line about why they sent in the missiles last week, but, no other country except my own lame government (Britain) has supported their actions!
Did you know that there is no such thing as the "no-fly-zone", except in the eyes of the USA?
The United Nations has not passed any resolutions about a no-fly zone!
In fact, Iraq has not done anything against international law. They have every right to assist the American backed Kurdish party, the KDP, if they so choose to!
So maybe it was just an election "pick me up"?
Maybe it was too much of a shock for the US to realise that Iraq has joined forces with the side that the CIA has been supporting all along!
The worst part of all of this has been the media coverage! (as usual!)
If we all knew what was really going on in this world...we might have a valid opinion, and even some useful suggestions as to how we might make this planet a better place for all of us to live in harmony!
