My Times

Thanks for coming out to the Free Times Cafe in Toronto. It was great fun to run through some of my songs with John Bojicic.
John and I are very old freinds, and he is one of the finest guitarists I know. Thanks again John and Randy for making my visit such a pleasure.

I'm trying to confirm a show in London England next week, as well as another show in Toronto on May 25th.
I'll let you know as soon as possible when and where.

Things are changing so quickly on the Internet. This weeks site will help you find the latest software for using your computer connection as a Video Phone.
As there are so many options I can only start your journey.

The Monaco Grand Prix was a real treat this year. Michael Schumacher showed his complete mastery of the worlds number one race.
With Paul and Jackie Stewarts Rubins Barichello coming in second, the week could not have ended any better! Congratulations to the whole team. They turn out a very beautiful car for Rubins and Jan (who came 7th).

I really have to question the logic of Williams and others not setting up for a wet race. The weather turned in the morning and anyone a few miles down the coast could have told them that the rain was going to last all day.
In fact I asked Stewart GP's Dave Stubbs what they do about weather forecasting, as I have become a bit of a nut about it (I predicted rain!), and he said they have spotters who report what is coming. So what happened to Williams?

And it wasn't only tires that were part of the choice before the race. Ferrari changed bodywork, suspension and brake settings to give Michael a perfect car for the race.
So when you saw the Williams pit for tires it was way too late to change everything else.

Highlights of the weekend were playing golf on Friday at Royal Mougin in the Maclaren Mercedes Scramble (we came 10th!), and finally catching up with Damon Hill. We're going to try and play golf when I'm in Britain next week.

Seeing Stuart and Di at the Ford motorhome and being welcomed with a nice hot cup of tea made me feel very at home. Getting a private moment with Michael Schumacher when he came to tell Di about his newset family arrival was also a special treat. What a very nice gentleman he is!

"The twentieth century has been characterised by three developments of great political importance: the growth of democracy, the growth of corporate power, and the growth of corporate propaganda as a means of protecting corporate power against democracy."
