My Times

I'm enjoying the daily news and tunes from Jam Music.
The daily backwards song is pretty silly.

At iMusic News Agent, you get the headlines from all the major web music news sites.

During the AES Convention in Los Angeles last year, I went to the Peterson Automotive Museum for a party for Re-Pro. They are the Guild of Recording Producers, Directors and Engineers in Great Britain. They are supporting the birth of a simlar association in the USA.
Anyway, somehow I won a raffle, but I didn't find out what the prize was, because they didn't have it!
A few months later a package arrived from Sony. A portable MINIDISC recorder!

If you haven't seen one, you must. The disc's are very small and they sound great. It uses it's own compression to record 60-74 minutes in stereo at 44.1 kHz.
Record time doubles in mono mode. Thanks!

Golf

This week I'll be playing in the Sylar Neil Memorial Golf Tournament in Malibu.
My Scramble team is Ed Cherney, Jann Arden and Walter Turbitt. The potential is frightening!
I pick 19 under to win.

"If a reward - money, awards, praise, or winning a contest - comes to be seen as the reason one is engaging in an activity, that activity will be viewed as less enjoyable in its own right. With the exception of some behaviorists who doubt the very existence of intrinsic motivation, these conclusions are now widely accepted among psychologists."
