My Times

Are you getting fed up trying to find things on the web?
Try MetaCrawler Searching, it uses all the search engines in one go!

The truly great news this week is that the U.S. Court Blocks New Internet-Indecency Law! Free speach wins!

I forgot to mention that last week was Nick Rhodes birthday. Happy Birthday Nick!
This week it's Mick Fleetwood's b'day! Happy Birthday Mick!

Congratulations to Steve Churchyard on finally marrying the woman of his dreams, Diane! A great wedding was had by all, especially the Air contingent who decided to let a professional do the driving!
Pat Benetar closed out the evening with a ripping performance with the wedding band!

News has reached us that George Martin has been knighted by the Queen in her birthday honours list!
Well done George, er, Sir George!
Fans might find the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Page worth a visit.

It is very sad to hear that Ella Fitzgerald passed away on the weekend. Ella was my favourite singer when I was growing up, and she was one of the greatest singers ever!

Golf

The US Open was great golf for almost 4 days. The one bad moment came on the 4th day when a total idiot fan yelled out while Colin Montgomerie was in the middle of his backswing.
It's people like that that will eventually lead to not having fans on the course during these tournaments.
If you know the guy in question...stop playing golf with him!

"When I watch TV and see those poor, starving kids all over the world, I can't help but cry. I mean, I'd love to be skinny like that, but not with all those flies and death and stuff."
