My Times

Everyone needs to get away now and again. For that special out of this world destination:
Fly NASA.

It's finally Grammy week.
Will we be lucky and win Album of the Year?
Tune in Wednesday night for the Live Webcast.

Golf

The team of champions fell asleep for 9 holes and ended up tied for third at the Skylar Neil Memorial Tournament last week.

It was a different team than planned as Ed and Jann dropped out at the last possible second. Quick thinking put what we thought would be a winning team together.
A bevy of Playboy Playmates did everything they could to distract and entertain us throughout the day. Especially when the hole in one prize was a Mercedes E320.

We eventually ended up 12 under par with 3 eagles and 6 birdies.
Most of the good golf came from Rene Hunt, who is trying to qualify for the LPGA.
Glen Hopkins, Mongo to us, hooked his drive on the longest drive hole. Glen usually carries the ball 300 yards when he's not in his Spiderman costume.
Walter Turbitt and I were quite unspectacular.
The winning team shot 15 under and were led by the infamous Ray Kennedy.

Many thanks to Vince Neil, John Scott and Jeff Albright for a great day!

"If a reward - money, awards, praise, or winning a contest - comes to be seen as the reason one is engaging in an activity, that activity will be viewed as less enjoyable in its own right. With the exception of some behaviorists who doubt the very existence of intrinsic motivation, these conclusions are now widely accepted among psychologists."
