My Times

It's been a long and interesting year. I'd like to wish everyone all the best in 1997, and lot's of thanks for your support in 1996!

I found myself looking through some early 1996 magazine articles about the World Wide Web. Man, things have been moving fast.
Even the brightest optimist wouldn't have expected it.
And just today I heard that more PC's were bought than cars this past year.
More Sunday drivers on the Web. Less Sunday drivers on the road! It seems like a good plan. Time to by a Motorcycle!
Is it possible that the whole computer, W W W , Internet thing is a Green Party plot to rid the world of the Automobile? I think we should be told.

I sort of mixed up the graphics I think?

Here's something to keep some of you off the road: the last site of the week of the year - Rhino Records.

I was very lucky this year.

The Celine Dion album has gone through the roof. I heard 17 million today!

The Dan Hill album I'm Doing Fine is doing just that, and Wrapped Around Your Finger was a quite respectable top 20 on A/C Radio in Canada and the USA.

The Fleetwood Mac album Time was given too short a time to live up to the legend. Even so, working with Mick and Peter and Tallulah, and finding his lost tapes, made hearing about the reunion first hand, all the more special.

It was especially great to have won a SOCAN award for Most Performed Song of 1995 for So Blind with Alan Frew.

And I'd like to be happier that I have to wait until next year until my First Album comes out!

And to those of you who are in need of a Holiday insult...go forth and multiply.

"Then he lands on each house in the whole world, on the same night...."
Mother telling lies. c2031
