My Times

If you haven't been checking, the Sausages page has added some new Categories.

You'll find them listed at the top of the page under Categories.

I've also added an Alan Frew page. At the moment I don't have any pictures but they are coming soon!

This past week I went to a screening of a film called "FUN". The New Musical Express called it "A Clockwork Orange for the '90s". My old school friend Jens Sturup was the Director of Photography on the picture, and did a fantastic job! If you need a DP for your film or rock video, this guy is a real talent!
If you're going to be in Los Angeles next week, check it out at the Nuart Theatre, 11272 Santa Monica Blvd, from Sept 15-21!

Fleetwood Mac

Mick is in London with Carl Stubbner to start the promotion of the new album. I'm waiting to hear wether the Remix of "These Strange Times" will get released as a dance club 12". I hope so!

Dan Hill

We will be together this coming week. We might have come up with a new song for the album. So far it's going great, and still on target!

Alan Frew

In two weeks Alan and I are scheduled to start writing songs for his next album. Anthony Van will be coming to keep us both on track!
If you haven't heard Alan's last record Hold On, then you don't live in Canada! (thanks EMI).

JJ Album

This past week I managed to write 2 new songs for myself. Both are very "rockie". In another few weeks I'll be able to record a few tracks in the studio with "live" players.

Europe

It's been raining in London for 2 weeks!

Motor Racing

I didn't go to the Indy Car race last week! The good news is that Gil De Ferran won the race and Jacques Villeneuve won the Championship! This was the best result I could ever have hoped for.
Now we can look forward to JV in Formula One next year, and Gil with the Honda engine in the back of his Jim Hall Reynard!

Golf

I shot an 82 last week. I haven't played in over a month, so I was quite happy. My putting is really saving my score!
I played with Jens, who has a new swing! One thing he did on the last 2 holes was drive the ball as far as I do! That is to say that, as far as I do when I connect! We both hit 290 yds on the 18th hole. I hit a 250 yd 4 wood onto the left front edge of the 550 yd par 5. Needless to say, I got a par! I had a couple of really lousy puts!
