My Times
With a combination of amnesia, news speak, disinformation and outright lies the largest TV and media outlets in the world have successfully promoted support for the Attack on Iraq and sanitized reports of Iraqi deaths, rarely veering from their Orwellian definition of 'collatoral damage' to describe them. Some journalists reports are getting printed while others, especially those 'embedded' with the US military, are restricted in what they can report.
As in most conflicts throughout history the truth will not be known until years after the fires have burned out. And since it is always the victors who write our history, the truth has been hard to find.
