My Times

This weeks Song of the Week is Lost Without You.
The song was written in 1993 and was recorded in the basement, on the bed, in Ifield Road where there wasn't any other place to sit!
It almost ended up on my album One Moment in Time but was pulled off at the last moment...
Steve Ferrone added his drums to the demo mix and then the two were combined in my DD1000...

The speakers in the photo above are made by HHB and are called Circle 5's
To give you an idea of scale the monitor is a 21 inch.
I've been using the powered 5's and the powered smaller 3's for the past couple of months and they are fantastic. For years I have wanted to hear a speaker that didn't colour the sound. These speakers are very very clear in the midrange and make working long hours a pleasure.
I'm also playing with some other HHB gear which I'll write about next time...

Davinci has finally joined the club and put a song we did together up on MP3.com!
She's in Love With You is a groovy little number that show's Davinci's great guitar work and I'm pretty happy with the bass part!

I'm sure you're all sick of me going on about the press and Kosovo...It get's me so mad that I can't help myself!
Despite the agreement last week the situation will not be resolved very quickly. NATO has already said that they will not accept the deal agreed between the Finnish President and the Russian envoy and the Yugoslavian Parliament.(You might have missed that the agreement stipulated that the United Nations would be in charge of the withdrawal of the Yugoslav troops and the return of the Kosovar refugees).
If NATO were willing to let the UN run the show then they would have got the UN's approval to bomb in the first place.
The good news for the public is the bad news for Yugoslavia...soon we won't hear another word about it. And that will be because the media never swallows all the crap they write and admit when they are wrong. If you can stand to follow the story further you will see what I mean.
I did hear a few American right wingers say that they think Clinton and his entire cabinet should be impeached for using the US military without the approval of Congress. Now that would be a fun trial!

" NATO personnel shall enjoy, together with their vehicles, vessels, aircraft, and equipment, free and unrestricted passage and unimpeded access throughout the FRY including associated airspace and territorial waters. This shall include, but not be limited to, the right of bivouac, maneuver, billet, and utilization of any areas or facilities as required for support, training, and operations. ."
