My Times

This week's My Times Site of the Week is Rocktropolis.
You need Netscape 2 to fully appreciate the sensual onslaught!

Since nobody else seems to be talking about it, I will.
Those fat wires that feed just about every building in the Western Hemisphere, sure would supply an awful lot of bandwidth!

The song version of the IPOLA soundtrack is finished enough for the powers that be to decide if the world is ready for an album of indigenous peoples inspired music. Stay tuned for a sampling.

A new single, Song For Thomas by Laura Harding, from her new album In Harmony With The Homeless has been released on Miramar/BMG!
Laura is not only a wonderful singer but also a deeply thoughtful composer and lyricist.

Politics

Anyone who read the Los Angeles Times article about how the Bond Market caused the Stock Market to loose $190 Billion on the news that the US Jobless rate had fallen, can be forgiven for being baffled!
It seems that the business community is afraid of too many people having jobs! It's something to do with the cost of borrowing having to go up!
One glaring omission from the article was no mention of Ross Perot. He is the largest holder of bonds in the world. Why was he not mentioned along with George Soros?

Motor Racing

I guess only Damon Hill and I saw the smoke coming out of Jacques car from the moment the red lights went out on the second restart?
I'm sorry for Villeneuve, but I'm sure Hill didn't think he would last long enough for him to risk overtaking, especially with all that oil pouring onto his visor!

"The economic nationalism which has grown into as great an evil as our political nationalism has been engendered by a corresponding perversion of Industrialism working within the same constricting bonds of the parochial state."
