The Music pages have a few of the demos.
Dan Hill and our song Wrapped Around Your Finger, was number 26 on Radio and Records (Rand R) Adult Contemporary chart!
Have you heard it?
Paul Stewart of Stewart Grand Prix, next years World Championship constructers, was in California recently to use the same wind tunnel that the best car in F1 uses. Makes sense to me!
I've just watched a tape of the Toronto Indy Car race.
I'm very sorry for Jeff Krosnoff and the track marshall and their families, as well as everyone who was a part of a most tragic and uneccessary accident.
Many years ago, when racing cars used public roads, drivers were killed regularily by trees, houses and telephone poles. Concerns about safety put the cars on purpose built tracks, away from the obstacles of everyday life.
Why do they still race on public roads in Toronto and Long Beach and Monaco?
Jeff would not have hit a telephone pole, and no marshall would ever stand so close to open wheel racing cars at a purpose built track!
Somedays I hate Motor Racing. This is one of them!
