Nick and JJ at the House of Blues LA after the red wine fiasco...

My Times

T his week an original demo of the song What's a Nation is available as an mp3 file at IUMA.
The song has been on the LO FI Song of the Week section of this site for a while.

Written in a moment of anger, What's a Nation is about the state of our planet and human equality coexisting with Nationalism, which only seems to promote the opposite.

Dear Mr Grim Reaper was up to #3 this past week on the Garageband.com Top 100 finals for October.
Today it is back at #11
If you get a chance, read some of the reviews and write your own.
I love the "Monkees on drugs" reference.
The prize is a $250,000 recording contract...

The situation in the Middle East is so disgraceful I don't know what to say.
The newspapers, TV, radio and other media outlets are showing how gutless and full of crap they really are with their version of events.
Even Hollywood wouldn't be able to shoot a movie about Tanks and Helicopter Gun ships slaughtering civilian stone throwers without throwing up.
United States taxpayers money to Israel should be suspended until they stand down their military forces.
Why aren't we stopping this madness?
Aren't Palestinian death's a tragedy enough in our new World Order?

At least there's Robert Fisk in the Independent and the occasional report that sneaks past the US Military editors at CNN...

The 2000 Formula 1 season was won in style by Michael Schumacher in his Ferrari. The style was enhanced by the conduct of his rival Mika Hakkinen who was MS's only equal this year. That's more than can be said for quite a few of the other drivers in F1 today.

"Why talk about the lesser of two evils, when Gore is easily as bad as Bush and in many ways worse? The "lesser of two evils" is by definition a matter of restricted choice, like a man on a raft facing the decision of whether to drink sea water or his own urine. But in this election there are other choices, starting with Nader and the Greens. It isn't just a matter of facing sea water or piss. "
