Just a quick note about a French Film and it's Soundtrack album that has 3 songs that the happy trio above produced last year in Hollywood. Although no record company has figured it out yet, Venice is very big in France!
Not as big as Jerry Lewis, but it's still early...

Now they want 50 Billion to rebuild the Power Grid. Gee, I wonder who is going to pay for that?
Hell, it's only 5 Billion more than keeping the troops in Iraq for a year. Or twice as much as higher education...

According to Henry D Schlinger, a lecturer in the Psychology Department at Cal State Northridge; those of us who live in Southern California are not aware that we get a mere 14% of out Water from local underground sources and most of the rest comes from the Eastern Sierra Nevada and the Colorado River, which are both hundreds of miles away.
Southern California is a Desert and we need to appreciate the preciousness of our Water.

Unfortunately thousands of Californians use water to move a small pile of leaves from their driveways, sidewalks and streets and many businesses regularly hose down the areas around their establishments. This is very stupid and wasteful.
What ever happened to using a rake?

Further on in Henry's essay he mentions that it is prohibited by the Los Angeles DWP to water your lawn between 10am and 5pm, April 1 to September 30 and between 11am and 3pm, October 1 through March.
I can't find a word about it on the DWP's website!

If you live here and haven't wasted water during these hours you are an exception. Oh well...
