My Times

Today the final Mastering and PQ Encoding were completed at Precision Lacquer in Hollywood, for my album One Moment in Time, which will be released on Iron Records and distributed by BMG Canada on September 15.
I will do my best to put the final version of the artwork on this site as soon as possible.
I took longer than expected to send off the single master, so, State of Mind won't get to radio until the middle of August.

Many years ago I wrote a song with Mark Baker and Karen Hendrix that was Produced by Jack Richardson and recorded by Priscilla Wright.
I had almost forgotten about it until Jamie and Sharon Vernon uploaded the first edition of the Canadian Music Encyberpedia on the Jam Music site.

The first 300 artists including my old friend Dee Long are up, with another 600 coming soon. The end result will be a book.
It's long overdue for a work of this quality, and Jamie and Sharon should be commended for a great job. Thanks guys!

The 1998 Formula One season continues to be dominated by Mika Hakkinen and his McLaren Mercedes. The Austrian GP was also a delightful chance to see Michael Schumacher on the ragged edge chasing him.
When he lost it, the sight of Michael's head being rattled like a rag doll as he went off the track gave some indication of the dangers these guys face with the slightest of mistakes.

However, I think the new rules about overtaking and no team orders are stupid!
As more than one team owner said recently, F1 is a team sport. We shouldn't have David "I'm the greatest" Coulthard holding back his laughter at the post race press conference when Schumacher was explaining that his team mates brakes were "going off", which is why he was so easily able to move up into 3rd place.
So what if his Ferrari team told his team mate to let him through! They always have in the past...

The US 500 in Michigan was not such a fun race.
3 fans were killed and many more injured when a tire left a race car and hurtled into the stands. This should never happen in 1998. If we have to have fences over the track then lets do it quickly! Unless we can chain the parts of these cars that might fly off then we will be forced to cover the track entirely.
The Indy cars were doing 200 plus miles per hour during the 3 hour race. If any of them had of touched each other it would have been Le Mans 1955 all over again!
Am I the only one who was totally frightened by the sight of Paul Tracy during the 10 laps or more that he was driving like a lunatic at the front of the pack? This guy should not be allowed to race at these speeds. He's a complete idiot!
I'm very sorry for the fans and their families. It never should have happened...
