My Times

I hope you've all had a chance to check out the additions on the Sausages page.
This weeks "Site of the Week" is called Music Similarities, where you are asked for 5 albums that you enjoy listening to, and they will email you up to 20 others that their program thinks you will like. One of my choices was Revolver by the Beatles, and they suggested Rubber Soul!
Anyway, the suggestions were very interesting, and reminded me of some great records I'd forgotten to listen to lately, like Pet Sounds from the Beach Boys and 5th Dimension from the Byrds.
Click here if you want to hear the John Lennon song the other Beatles overdubbed on. It comes out in November!

In my Saturday morning surf hour, I came across quite a few places of interest.
If you were wondering what all the fuss was about in Cleveland, then have a look at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame + Museum FactSheet.
And speaking of great albums, Jim's Ithaca Music Shop is a place that brings back a lot of memories.

I've been looking for Web sites relating to Canada. I found the Canada Net Pages. I'm sorry to report that they "charge money" for mentioning anything other than your email address, which they will gladly put in their "White Pages".

After looking into what Countries have their own web sites, I wondered if any of the other planets had one too!
I'm glad to report that our entire Galaxy is well represented at The Nine Planets.
I still don't know what the core of our own planet is made from. But you can find out what some of the other languages on earth call our floating home.

Music

Not a whole lot to report. I had a few days forced rest when I contracted the dreaded Flu!
I'm looking forward to Steve Ferrone, John Peirce and Michael Thompson who I'm hoping to do overdubs with on the Dan Hill tracks I'm producing.

The week ahead will be full up with writing with various old mates and new relations. You never know what can happen!

Formula 1

I really hated the "European Grand Prix". I thought that Michael Schumacher defended his "line" from Damon Hill in a very dangerous manner!
Jean Alesi in the #27 Ferrari was totally at fault in his collision with Damon, which ruined the race completely, when he took the front "off" of the Williams. A very sad day indeed!
You can read all about it at Racing News, or go to Motor Racing on the Sausages and Cruise around a bit!

Golf

Another lousy game really.
85 and not one put from more than 5 feet! I need a "green" in my garden!
