This was our favorite album of the 60s! The Monkees captured all of it!
1967: the end of the age of innocence!
Jimi Hendrix opened for them on part of their concert tour! I saw them in Toronto! WOW!

Dear friends,
I just signed the petition “Save Air Studios“ and wanted to ask if you could add your name too.
This campaign means a lot to me and the more support we can get behind it, the better chance we have of succeeding.
You can read more and sign the petition here: Save AIR Studios
Can you also take a moment to share the petition with others?
Thank you!
John

Toys for big boys were in abundance when we recently visited Flightdeck in Newmarket.
These machines are used in conjunction with Computer Flight simulator software to train pilots and to enhance the homes of wealthly enthusiasts around the globe. I must admit, I never thought that people would want the cockpit of a 747 in their living room, but apparently they do!
The big machines are $150,000 and up, but Flightdeck also make the beautiful Jetmax, at $15,000, that I would definitely have in my house!

Sadly, the golf course and country club have been gone since the new Forum replaced it in the 1960’s! Despite disappearing for a few years, the newly remodeled Forum is back with a vengeance, and is undoubtedly the best indoor stadium venue for a rock concert in the Greater Los Angles area!
And Fleetwood Mac gave a monumental performance!

Here is the long lost episode of the BBC’s “Science in Action” program from 1987. In this segment I show how to sample with our Fairlight CMI Series III in Studio 5 at AIR Studios Oxford Street.
We sold the Series III to J. J. Jeczalik of the Art of Noise a few weeks after taping this episode! I wonder why!

Thanks to the kindness of Ken Roberts we are able to visit the past and watch Alan, Anthony Vanderburgh, Richard Martinez and Dr Who, rehearse the Frew/Reid composition HOLD ON, in the Mondrian dressing room for the Fleetwood Mac shows at the House of Blues, Los Angeles, in January 1995.
