Last week I went to the ASCAP Expo in Hollywood, where old and new friends abound!
I managed to steal a minute with Eddie Schwartz, who I know from Toronto. We first met when we were teenagers, both writing for Val Azzoli at ATV Music. Then Eddie wrote Hit Me With Your Best Shot! I built a studio…
For decades Eddie has been a tireless worker for songwriters rights. He joined a panel with songwriter Desmond Child and spoke about Fair Trade Music; , which connects musicians, venues, and fans to promote a healthy music business—one that pays musicians fair wages.
