It was 20 years ago on April 29, 1993 that we lost Mick Ronson.
I was lucky to have spent most of the day at Wembley on the 20th of April hanging around with Mick at the Freddie Mercury Tribute concert. The whole show was amazing, and Ronson, Bowie, Hunter, Queen, Spike Edney, and Joe Elliott and Phil Collen from Def Leppard, were no exception. I was watching from the right stage entrance. I’m playing the opening note on the organ in We Are The Champions.

I visited the Fleetwood Mac rehearsal in Los Angeles today, and what a fantastic band did I see! Awesome! If you are wondering who to spend your money on this year on the concert circuit, don’t miss Fleetwood Mac!

March 11 is the 2nd anniversary of the Tohoku Earthquake tragedy in Japan, “the fourth largest earthquake in history”.
Proceeds from Nick Wood’s song Hope, that we recorded with Julian Lennon and Tetsuya Komuro for the first anniversary in 2012, go to the Beyond Tomorrow organisation who are dedicated to helping the orphaned children of the disaster.
