The Music is Hope Foundation’s next release for Meninos do Morumbi and Friends with Julian Lennon, was mastered by the amazing  Bernie Grundman, at his beautiful Mastering Studio in Hollywood, this week. Also at the session were mixer; Skip Saylor, and MIHF manager Richard Martinez.

This past week the one and only Dee Long has kindly laid some rocking guitar tracks for the upcoming Meninos & Friends album. Thanks Dee! I bought the iTunes Klaatu combo album today. 3:47 EST and Hope album! Sweet!        

After another great trip to Brazil with Richard Martinez for Music is Hope Foundation to visit Meninos Do Morumbi. Even though it was twelve hours on a plane with a six hour time difference, we had a blast going to concerts and rehearsals with Flavio Pimenta and the kids.

      I Love Rock ‘n Roll – Meninos do Morumbi is joined by Barnett O’Hara, Tom Petty’s drummer Steve Ferrone, The Cult’s bass player Chris Wyse, guitarist Michael Thompson, in this rocking track produced by Grammy Award winning producer John Jones.    

A great time was had by all at the historic Asphaltum Springs on the Rancho La Brea on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles this past weekend.
