It started out as the tape copy room. By 1986 it was a ‘state of the art’ Fairlight/MIDI studio on the fourth floor of the Burton building in Oxford Circus. The pictures are from a Sound Recording Magazine, Japan, July 1987, article about George Martin’s AIR Studios.
