An album of song demos written and recorded by John Jones between 1992 and 2003.
Most of these songs were created and recorded at the same time by Live Songwriting! The ultimate fun!
Often started with a clik or a beat, and a live guitar and/or a piano keyboard, with a live vocal.
The individual tracks are most often the first or second take of a writing session.
“Generally, I build up the song as I write down the lyrics, and once I have the idea I put down a mix.”
“Call My Name,” “Alien Rock,” and “Dear John,” are songs written while jamming to Mick Fleetwood drum tracks.
1993’s, “How Can I Do This This,” went on to become the Alan Frew hit “So Blind.”
The 1999 song “bits” recorded with the Digidesign 24-bit experience was mind-blowing!
