Crosby, Hope & Shore

This year’s SCGA Hall of Fame induction luncheon was for Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, and Dinah Shore.

Their children accepted the beautiful Scott Medlock portraits after some lovely stories.

My collection of Bob Hope memorabilia, which includes the USO Baskets, of which I have three, and the clocks, pen holders, and the ball tester were prominently on display at the luncheon.

A wonderful time was had by all!

John Taylor book tour comes to Hollywood

Thanks Nick and Sharon for having us at Cinespace on Hollywood Boulevard for John Taylor’s Readings and Q & A tonight. It was a delight to hear his elegant voice reading chapters from the book, and to hear his eloquent answers to the questions asked by the audience. The place was packed to the rafters, and the line for having In The Pleasure Groove signed was too much for us to bare. Massive, is a better description!

Well done Nigel!

We are all still recovering from a fantastic week in South Bend Indiana as guests of the Fighting Irish Marching Band,

Follow the link to the NBC playback of the game and see the start of the Half-Time show at about 1:35 (one hour thirty five minutes). Go to 1:39 to see Flavio Pimenta and Meninos do Morumbi perform in the endless rain (If you squint you can see me in a green poncho on the right hand side, videoing with two cameras!).

Loads of Photos and videos coming soon! Check back.

Mixing Nick Wood

Most of September 2012 was spent getting Nick Wood’s solo album finished.

Mixing duties for the first few tracks fell to Trident Studios refugee Adam Moseley. I didn’t know Adam back in the day, but he has an astounding history of stupendous work as an engineer and producer of more projects than even AMG can list! Awesome dude!

Adam in the saddle.
