“The Recording Academy’s Producers & Engineers Wing celebrates the work of Island Records founder Chris Blackwell and all technical creative talent”.
What a fun night it was at the Village in west Los Angeles this past week. Thanks to Frank Oglethorpe at Prism Sound for the invite!
After being introduced to Quincy Jones by Steve Ferrone. I mentioned that Sir George Martin had introduced us 15 years ago in Los Angeles when George was putting his hands in the cement at guitar Center on Sunset Blvd. George told me that Quincy was the greatest music producer that the world has ever known!
After a few stories on the couch this week I found out that Quincy feels the same way about George!
