Another 30 year landmark song of mine that was recorded by Rational Youth in 1984 at ESP Studios.
The album was Heredity. Certainly one of the best albums of the 1980’s. Produced by Dee Long and Tracy Howe. I did my best to help them.
We all produced Bang On. Tracy and I did the vocals together. I programmed the Fairlight and played most of the instruments, with Dee and Tracy’s help, except for the wicked violin of Ben Mink!
We mixed it in October of 1984 with Matt Butler in Studio 3 at AIR Studios on Oxford Street. Matt Howe assisted.

A decent copy of the 1999 video for my song Turning Me Inside Out from the One Moment in Time album, directed by Neil Grieve and filmed by Jens Sturup around Los Angeles, with Steve Ferrone and Richard Martinez on drums and percussion.

A long time ago, in a land far away…more than 30 years ago…
Alice Cooper came to ESP Studios in Buttonville with Bob Ezrin, Dick Wagner, and Ringo Hrycyna to record DaDa.
Dee Long helped with the engineering and the Fairlight programming and I helped Dee and Alice.
