Buttonville Airport Meets Progress

December 6th, 2010 § 1 comment

A part of me will always be in Buttonville, even if they don’t remember we were there from 1979 to 1985. The latest news is about the IMMINENT DEMISE of the Buttonville Airport.

No more bacon & eggs on a Sunday morning, watching the planes come and go. Those were the days!

My house, the Village Forge, and ESP Studios, looked like this in the early 80’s:

This is what it looks like today. Now you can buy gaz-o-line instead of an old chair or a hit record:

The buildings went across the street and became a school:

The information about the building’s history is wrong on the school website. Mindtech? I’ll have to let them know.

Great shot JJ. I had to look close to see if my car was parked there. I was talking to Alphie Z a month or so ago…..chatting about ESP and days gone by. Great to see the news pages updating again. Was with JC tonight and he told me the web page was alive again. Hope all is well.
